Well it's all about transient and straightforward steer that limits electricity. The Truth About Electricity Transmission
Electricity transmission lines offer the transport highways to move electricity from the generation sources to targeted areas of customers. Electrical companies have laws if they wish to buy and market electricity within the wholesale sell or use the transmission facilities of jurisdictional utilities. In order to qualify to use the interstate transmission systems, each requesting utility that wants to move electricity across another process had to get approval. After electricity is created at power plants it has to move to the purchasers that utilize the electricity. Our cities, towns, states and the complete nation functions to get electricity this way.

Electric Power Transmission
Electric power transmission or "high voltage electrical transmission" is the bulk transfer of electrical energy, from generating plants to the end user. The rapid industrialization within the 20th century made electrical transmission lines and grids an important half of the infrastructure in most industrialized nations. Long-distance transmission of electricity (thousands of kilometers) is reasonable and efficient, with costs of US$0.005-0.02/kWh. This is the way energy is transferred from the source to the final end user.
